Who we are
This site is run by Song Kang Official with his agency, Namoo Actors, which decide how the details you share here are used. For anything about your data, write to management@songkangofficial.com.
What we collect, and why
Fan Club: your name, email address, phone number, country, postal address, the photo you upload, your language and, if you choose, a favourite drama — to run your membership, review it for the Members’ Room, show your photo on your digital membership card and post your printed card. Your photo is resized and stripped of its hidden details (such as where it was taken) before it is stored. Members’ Room: whether his team has approved you, your card number, and any messages between you and the team about your request. Signing in to the Members’ Room sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. Contact form: your name, email address, the type of enquiry and your message — to read and answer it. We collect nothing else, use no tracking or advertising cookies, and never sell or share your details for marketing.
On what basis
Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time — every Fan Club email has a link to leave, or you can write to us.
Who handles it for us
Resend (Resend, Inc., United States) sends our emails. Upstash (Upstash, Inc., United States) stores the Fan Club member list and photos. Vercel (Vercel Inc., United States) hosts the site. All three process your details only on our instructions, under data-processing agreements with safeguards for transfers outside your country.
How long we keep it
Fan Club details, including your photo, are kept while you are a member and deleted when you leave; we keep only a one-way fingerprint of your address and the date, so no email is sent to you again. A sign-up that is never confirmed is deleted after 48 hours. Your postal address is deleted from your printed-card request once the card is posted. Messages from the contact form are kept for up to two years, so we can follow up, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop their use, by writing to management@songkangofficial.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority — in Korea, the Personal Information Protection Commission.
Age
The Fan Club is open to people aged 16 and over.
